Exciting news – we can now reveal the 2017 Creative Shootout Final will be held at the iconic home of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) in London’s Piccadilly.
BAFTA believes that talented individuals should be given every opportunity to succeed, which makes it the perfect venue for the UK’s most recognised creative awards on 19th January 2017.
Finalists receive a real brief in the morning from Mind and Rethink Mental Illness and, fours later, will have 15 minutes each on the stage of BAFTA’S Princess Anne Theatre to pitch their ideas back to a high profile judging panel and a live audience of around 250 people. In a change from the format of the inaugural Creative Shootout, this year the audience will have a vote, too.
Creative Shootout Founder Johnny Pitt described BAFTA as the ideal setting for the Final: “The Shootout came into being to nurture and showcase the best in creative talent. We hope that holding the Final in a place that rewards and celebrates excellence in the arts will inspire our finalists to push the boundaries of their creativity.”
The live Final will start at 2.30pm on 19th January, and follows on into the evening after party (6pm) which will include the announcement of 1st, 2nd and 3rd (8pm). It wraps up around 9.30pm. For tickets, visit Creativeshootout.com/tickets.
